Child Allowance

Hello everyone,

I'm going to bring my child in Switzerland this mounth (in Zurich) and I have to apply for child allowance and I am trying to sort out the necessary paperwork.
I want to know if I need any statement or something to proof that we will not recive allowance any more in our country.

Thanks in advanced.

Regards

If there is another parent with care involved, who received benefit for the child in the UK, other than yourself, then this persons details will have to be supplied on the forms (supplemental forms , on the Zurich Web site). Good luck, I am still waiting for over 18 months for the UK Child benefit office to respond, despite my employer and the Canton sending 3 reminders.

Regardless, I believe they will still contact the CB offices in the your previous country to confirm you were in receipt of/entitled to benefit and that you have stopped claiming.

Good luck, I wish you a better experience than mine.
