Hello all!

My lovely 12 yo daughter had SmartClip braces put on in the states a year ago. I need to find an orthodontist within an hour of Zurich to continue her care. Ive been to two dentists who dont use this "old fashioned" technique. They have offered to strip off and redo for 14k! Lol. The smartclip braces have brackets and the rubber bands that come in colors.

Does anyone know, or can you recommend an orthodontist in Zurich area that would take over the care? I also have an e-mail into the company and my orthodontist at home, but would love a recommendation from someone who has been to the doc.

Dentistry is, like most other things here, expensive. I appreciate that the Orthodontists' reply was not very helpful but Complaints Corner is only for 'rants'. If you need advice you'll be better off here.

I can very highly recommend Dr. Rolf Haubensak.

I would suggest that you call and explain what you are looking for - my child has standard brackets with rubber bands but I am not an expert to know if it is the same as what you are looking for.

Hi Silviya,

Restarting this thread to check if you still have information about dentists working with the 3M SmartClip braces, and whether there are more dentists now than the earlier reply you had given!

I am also looking for one around the Zurich area, someone who can continue the routine wire-changing on a patient who already has these fixed on teeth.

Will get in touch with the dentist already listed here, just hope he still works with this! It would be good to know if there are others from the last couple of years.
