I have beenreading previous posts on this topic, but I am still undecided .

I have a great dentist here , doing a wonderful job. I usually have filings that needs to be changed , I got two crowns and so on. So my question would be will it make sense to have a dental insurance ?

The prices are really high so I was wondering how you can manage it? I do not want to goin France or Germany , though I have heard is cheaper, because I am so happy with the professionalism of my dentist. I have already checked the conditions to get a dental insurance ,but does it make sense?

I will appreciate if someone who has already can share some experience

If you have good teeth, save CHF 10,-- every month for the annual bill. cheaper than insurance!

Emergency repairs are covered by accident insurance and basic health insurance if life threatening.

Sadly not and but I am very responsible and make regular checks exchange the old filings and so on. I paid already so much this year I still need a new filing

I guess I have to accept the prices

You won't get insurance cover until after all your teeth are up to Swiss standards.

So i heard at least my dentist is so good that makes the pain of paying so much a bit bearable wow
