Hi everyone,

My son turns two this Autumn and I'd love to throw him a birthday party for around 10 of his friends (plus parents). I would prefer not to host it at home because of space, and also I wanted to do something themed or a bit different.

I would be so grateful for your ideas/experiences. It'll be November so it'll probably be cold and rainy...

I second the listing in the first pots that was found for you, I've only been to the one in Germany, right across the border from Basel (little as a 10-15 minute drive from the border of Basel (Riehen) to Lorrach, Germany. You could naturally take tram 6 all the way down the end of the line and then walk the 10 minutes that it takes to get here (depending on if you have transport or not):

Big, they have plenty of space and great deals (plus you can bring in your own food if you wish) - 2 years olds will love it, and there is plenty of stuff for bigger kids too.

I just went to a 2 year old party this weekend in Gundeli in the familienzentrum, a great place big play area for kids and you can bring your own food, aparently you can rent the place for about 4 hours.. here is the link

I'm also looking for ideas my boy turns 2 in January.. this party that we went was great but I also have a 4 month old so Im looking for other options.. but I loved that place kids really enjoyed the party.
