Cognitive Behaviour Therapist - any recommendations?

Does anyone know of a psychiatrist/psychologist who speaks good english (even better if english is the first language) who is experienced in cognitive behaviour therapy? Specifically if they have experience treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Zug area would be best, but we would be prepared to travel further for the right therapist. thanks!

Sorry, I don't know the answer, but if all else fails, perhaps contact the psychiatric service of your cantonal hospital for a referral. They should speak English and be able to direct you to someone.

Try David Eldred, Ph.D. in Zürich. He has helped people with OCD.

Re: Cognitive Behaviour Therapist - any recommendations?

My experience with OCD helps came through this book: Feeling Good from Dr. David D. Burns.

It doesn't solve everything and certainly not replacing meds but it does help a lot to deal with it without the need of strong meds.

It is a book I have since over 12 years and it helped me a lot.

Do you know if he can also help people who are living with people who have OCD?
