Hi, does anyone know what this translate to and how I get one? Is it the Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage, or is it the "No Trace Letter"? Or something else entirely?

It's a statement of civil status - proof that you are a bachelor - and you can get it from the British Embassy in Bern for a small fee.

So I take it, it is not the "Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage", which states that there is no objection to your marriage?

And is the British Embassy in Bern the only place I can get this doc? I ask because I have already called them this morning and I am still waiting for a callback.

Yeah, I know that message. Nothing will happen. Suggest calling at 0830 before the visitors appointments start
