Re: Divorce Advise

Pergolito, the comments about nationality have nothing to do with race. Nationality (or rather your citizenship) determines the type of permit and chances for keeping it, etc.

Hope that helps.

Re: Divorce Advise

This is the official Swiss government statement:

Permit C (settlement permit)

Aufenthaltsbewilligung C

Settled foreign nationals are foreign nationals who have been granted a settlement permit after five or ten years’ residence in Switzerland. The right to settle in Switzerland is not subject to any restrictions and must not be tied to any conditions. The Federal Office of Migration fixes the earliest date from which the competent national authorities may grant settlement permits.

As a rule, third-country nationals are in a position to be granted a settlement permit after ten years’ regular and uninterrupted residence in Switzerland. US and Canadian nationals are subject to a special regulation. However, third-country nationals have no legal entitlement to settlement permits. Apart from the provisions of settlement treaties, such a claim can only be derived from the Articles 42–43 and from Article 31 of the Aliens Act. Persons who hold a settlement permit are no longer subject to the Limitation Regulation, are free to choose their employers, and are no longer taxed at source.

Thank You, Alloosh, but I'm not in Genève.

About how to post a new thread you should know because it seems you've posted a new thread twice, one in 2007 and one in July 2011.

I believe that means that your employer is no longer required to deduct your estimated taxes from your salary. You then file your tax return, after which you will receive a bill for your taxes, the same as a Swiss citizen. In other words, you then become responsible for paying your taxes, not your employer.

As for separation and divorce in English, take a look here (at the same time, take a pause to cool down and go about things rationally with clarity):

Re: Divorce Advise

Behind it all, Pergolito, we are all just people, not Swiss, not foreigners, no race, no religion, no ethnicity, just people trying to pick their way through life with what they have been given.

Try to see just people the way they are behind the masks and conditioning, confident in yourself that you are just being you, seeking a life that fulfills you. Take it slow and easy and don't worry too much about what other people think, say or do.

True words.

I stop accepting meetings, I cannot invite nobody at home because of a very ugly stuff I will not reveal here. People just stop contacting me. I just become more and more lonely. Year by year I was losing my self more and more because was the way I found to do not get troubles at home. Staying in my room every free time I got. That has happened almost without realizing it, just feeling that was a way to find no complains. Not to get my phone spied when sleeping, not to recieve interrogations about who sent me some sms or call, all the time!! And then I can see i'm not young anymore and the idea about start again, I've found my self driving insane, now. I want to commit suicide sometimes but I 've never had the nerve.

If I want to go back to my destroyed country what I'm going to do?

Anyway, this is not a therapy...

Thanks

My I should lost my 4ss in some

Re: Divorce Advise

...never mind, that is the past, just do your best to look beyond it. You might feel that you are trapped, but actually you are free, you just proved it with your Permit C.

You might not realize it but perhaps it is you wife who is trapped in how she has been conditioned, how she behaves, and maybe she can't help it because she doesn't know any different, but that's not the point. The point is you and how you shape your life from here on out which you are free to do, if you'll just pry your brain loose from the past.

This is not the end, it's the beginning. Life always starts now, so get started!

Yeah. Thanks, J_T, actually almost somebody give a feedback. I know that sad stuff is boring for the happiest environment we live in. But I am very thankful with you because your words give me some kind of strength.

I will eat all the shit and get out of this maze... I will start in some another kanton and start again... Thanks man, thanks a lot.
