Bungertwies and other public schools in Zurichberg

Hello
Does anyone have any feedback on Bungertwies? Or anything particularly good/bad about neighboring schools (and Hort in those cases!).
Thanks!

I've heard from friends that it is very good. The only problem is that it is very difficult to get your kids into it, because it's a day school and there just aren't many of them at all in Zürich city that are not private.

Yeah, I'm really hoping I can get my son in; I'm pretty impressed with what's available on their website, but I'd love to hear some personal feedback

We live on the Bergstr/Dolderstr junction slightly closer to "Bungie" as its locally known.
I am from the UK & my wife is German.
The area generally is very international.
I may have a little help for you.
You are correct, it is a very small school hence the very tight catchment area (you will have no chance if you do not live very local) with expensive after school care. There is also a waiting list for the K/Garten due to the payable aftercare offered. I know this because we have several friends in Bungie including our nieghbour who has just removed her 2 boys and placed them in Fluntern (a 10 min walk) as she deems in her view that the schooling quality is ultimatley better.
We have our oldest daughter in Ilgen (Romerhof) which is another local bigger school.
The standards there are also very high with good teaching and nice children, she is very happy there.
Our youngest daughter will go there too.
Schooling discussions always involve many "personal" thoughts which some here will inevitably disagree with.
If you wish for a more in depth conversation feel free to PM me.
