Hi All,

My daughter has lost her yellow visibilty stripe she is supposed to wear when she walks to and from school. Does anybody know where I can get another one?

I have tried to ask the teacher but she was no help. She was only concerned with informing me that she had checked asked the by mistake.

They are issued by the TCS... ask them or cant the school give you another one?????

I got ours at Ikea. Ikea also sells the vests, I think the yellow vests (come in 3 sizes) are really better.

OH we lost ours . within a few weeks of arriving. Useless, useless, useless foreign mother. It was the first of my many sins when Son number 1 was in Kindergarten. After much grovelling, the school eventually provided another (old one from a previous year so son had a different colour which he thought was cool and subversive but I always suspect they did to prove a point) ...

I will try and get one from TCS as I cant bear going to IKEA, (love the stuff hate the big shop and car park).
I am sure we will lose more stuff.....and yes losing things really are the least of my appalling "foreign mother" skills

Don't worry .. another friend (who shall remain nameless) misread the letter about the first day of school in her son's first year of kindergarten and thought her son should start on Wednesday .. all the other kids of course went the day before on the Tuesday ...

I think that wins hands down for Foreign Mother Schoolroom Faux Pas ... but perhaps someone out there has one to top it?
