Private skiing lesson for toddler (Lausanne)

Does anyone know where could I get a skiing lesson IN ENGLISH for a toddler of 4 years old please? Could be either one-to-one or group.

thanks

During the season you can definitely get them in Gstaad at the base of the Wispile. My daughter started learning at 3 there and my son, who is 4, will be starting this year.

Not near you, I'm afraid, but we'd be happy to do it in Engelberg. I gave a couple of lessons to the 4-year old child of a friend of ours last year and he was happily snowploughing around and steering round poles after about 3 hours. Best if mum or dad is around, and skiing too, so s/he has someone to show off to and keep the interest going, depending on the child, of course.

Almost anywhere.

Even at our little local resorts, you could get an English one-to-one lesson just by turning up in the morning.

My Swiss wife took a couple of refresher ski lessons last year (she was a long time boarder), and the instructor remarked that she was the only person the whole season that he had taught in Swiss-German rather than English!

Les Diablerets and les Pacots are the closest to Lausanne. But then they're not very high in the mountains, and we seem to have quite a warm winter, so you have to wait until there's enough snow for them to open!

All the higher (and thus snowier) mountain resorts are more than an hour away.

Les Mosses is higher, plus has a magic carpet lift for small children. There's a ski school based there who'll definitely be able to offer lessons in English.
