Hello Rootkit,

I used to suffer the same type of sickness(cold, cough) every night. But then I got a humidifier (brand: Boneco) and it really did wonders. Since the night I have started using it I am totally relieved from the bad cold, blocked nose...

I would definitely suggest you to go and get a good humidifier. My suggestions would be Boneco or Air-O-Swiss.
Thanks very much, I'll have a look.

Never heard of these brands, which means I'll probably discover something interesting .

if you think it is bed bugs then you might want to try a raycop
That's another very interesting thing! I didn't even know they had vacs for dust mites. This UV technique must be very efficient. Maybe I'll find it for rent in pharmacies or somewhere.

My daughter had it too and we got her one from "Tur Mix" which you can purchase at Media Markt. They have different models (kids room, living room, etc).

Re: Humidifier and purifier advice

We went across the border to Kaufland in Waldshut and found basic humidifier for EU9.99 which does it's job perfectly. You just need to change water and when the powder solidifies or melts completely you can invest in box for another CHF9.99. Basically it last you 3months for 10 bucks and not a single softthroat in the house. I'm walking example of healthy individual

Re: Humidifier and purifier advice

would recommend an ultrasonic unit rather than a boiling unit.

you just need to clean it every now and then due to calk build up in hard water areas.

but saying that i unpacked mine after 6 months of non use and it took about 10 mins for it to work again - no cleaning was done.
