prescription from Mexico

Hola,

I have one from my doctor in Tijuana but it seems the drug has been banned in the EU. It is called phentermine. No pharmacy in France will fill it. Is this substance also banned in Switzerland?

Gracias

Re: prescription from Mexico

Yes, but seeing as it was being illegally supplied from Switzerland to the UK, by him, then perhaps he'll be able to tell you if it is legal in this country. I looked him up on whitepages and he still practices. However, if it's banned in France, then he may well not be allowed to supply it to someone resident there. I see you are resident in Paris.

Why not ask a French doctor if there's an alternative?

French doctors suggest therapies that do not work for me. I had a long conversation with two pharmacienne, she said all products like this based on amphetamines were banned in EU not even available in Netherlands. They suggest things like 'fat-blocker' Xenecal, thanks but no thanks.

I will contact Herr Doctor.

Thanks.

EU is going backwards because they won't allow a weight loss medication....Sure

It was on the market in Europe but revoked due to health risks.

Yes backwards, do you want me to write in french, german, spanish and italian?

A new ban is coming in for herbal medicines which have been around for 2000 to 5000 years. Backwards.

Are you going to add anything to my original question, or just be a troll.

Would you like me to tell you in Dutch that is not legally available in Switzerland or do you get it by now? You either fly back to Mexico or the US to get it, try to get it illegally or try something else...

Flaunting your language skills as a show of intelligence isn't going to impress anyone if you base your arguments on the Guardian.

To your original question no medication based on phentermine is distributed in Switzerland... off to more advanced countries like *ahem* Mexico.

Re: prescription from Mexico

OP, based in Paris, FR armed with a script from Mexico, had asked a Swiss forum about a drug generally not available in CH, has now obtained the answer. With that, this thread is now closed.
