Hello everyone! A friend of mine is coming for a couple of weeks, and she wants to know if it's possible to make a blood test (focusing on hormone levels) in a private institution, without health insurance (she uses the Spanish public health system). Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Why use a hospital? Any doctor can take the blood and send it to a laboratory. But it will be expensive. Why can't she claim on her Spanish health insurance?

It's possible, but as others have indicated, it is likely to be expensive. I would count on at least CHF70 for the short visit plus another CHF50+ for the lab analysis fees.
