Bilingual Int. School Zürich - your experience

Anyone got experience with this particular school?

http://www.bisz.ch/our_school/media/

There isn't much on their website....

I can't decide between BISZ and Tandem IMS ....

Re: Bilingual Int. School Zürich - your experience

It looks like a fairly new school as it says it only opened 2 years ago and is an extension of Little Star nurseries, about which I have heard mixed opinions. I would be careful, check if they are certified. There's no mention of their curriculum for example, which is a little bit suspicious.

There are many choices of bilingual schools in Zurich. I would suggest that you narrow them down not based on how 'great' their website looks, but in terms of location/accessability, and whether they meet your basic care needs (opening hours, affordability) - then contact each school and ask to physically visit the campus.

Re: Bilingual Int. School Zürich - your experience

The school is very new so you are unlikely to get much feedback. Two years ago they were basically offering the children who attended Little Star the chance to do their Kindergarten at the school with the intention of growing the school each year.

I can't comment on the school but based on my experience with Little Star they promise a lot but don't deliver. Also keep an eye on the fees as they increased the fees twice while we were there without informing parents in advance. Having said that I know some parents who were very happy.

I love that the Campus page says 'Campus empty'.

Also 'Why Choose BISZ? empty'

Oh, and 'We found a personal iPad to be very positive for the learning progress of our first graders.' Really? Would be a reason to NOT put my kid there.

THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO RESPOND. I'm very glad that you wrote me your true opinion. Their prices are extraordinary high and if you tell me that they don't even offer what they promise than it's definitly not a kindergarten I want to send my child....
