Re: Anyone ever broken a tailbone?

It's the worst..broke mine at gymnastics as a young kid. It took 8 months to a year to feel "right". Although, it does still "flare" up sometimes. It's one of those cronic injuries which sometime's never compleatly sorts itself out. I hope you don't have too many problems!

Re: Anyone ever broken a tailbone?

I was sat on a speed boat, which hit a wave and i bounced really awkwardly and hard on my bum. So boats are dangerous too!

Re: Anyone ever broken a tailbone?

After reading all these posts I realize that life is indeed very dangerous (at least for a tailbone).

I had it too broken when I was younger. It never completely go away. During my two pregnancies, I had excruciating pain there.

Unexpected dismount from a motorbike.

Did it 10 years ago and even now some chairs will cause pain.
So how is it riding a motorcycle now? Can you go for longer rides or is it painful?
