Hello all
I need to have a disc in my neck removed and get a fusion. It's a complicated case b/c I'm already fused from my skull thru my first 6 vertebrae and now they need to fuse me down to my 7th vertebrae. I saw a really good doc at Schultess Klinik but I'd like to get a second opinion. Anyone have any neurosurgery experience in Zürich?

If you have coverage to see a dr in all of Switzerland, I would recommend you call the Schweizer Paraplegiker Zentrum in Nottwil. They have gone through a bit of change in their staff recently so are a bit backed up but definitely THE place to go in Switzerland for anything spine related.

I had my neck (between 5&6) done 2 years ago by prof. Urs Schmid at Klinik Im Park, Seestrasse 220, Zürich.

I can thoroughly recommend him and his team - check him out on the Internet. Would think he would be good for a second opinion.

Hi there, I had surgery last year on my lower back at the Balgrist Clinic in Zurich. My surgeons name is Dr Kan Min who is the head of the orthopaedic division at the clinic.

The clinik is very good and Dr Min is quite well renowned for cervical and lumbar surgery. I highly recommend that you see him for a second opinion.
