Avoiding extra pharmacy charges

Since the beginning of 2007, when a customer charges the prescription medication to the health insurance, the pharmacy may
make an extra "Medication check" costing Fr 4,30 and also an additional Fr 3,25 for a "Reference check"

Some pharmacies waive these charges if the medicines are paid for in cash, and not charged to the health insurance.

However some pharmacies do not make these charges at all,

If you use these pharmacies, you can avoid these extra 2 charges,
Online pharmacies: Mediservice in Zuchwil SO (Tel. 0848 80 70 71) and the
Apotheke Zur Rose AG in Frauenfeld
TG (Tel. 0848 842 842) do not charge for "Medikamenten" and "Bezugs" checks.

Sun-Store-Apotheken: Die Kette mit rund 80 Filialen do not charge for "Medikamenten" and "Bezugs" checks.

Apotheken der Groupe Capitole: Die rund 60 Apotheken (vor allem in der Westschweiz) do not charge for "Medikamenten" and "Bezugs" checks but you must ask for the reduction.

Dr. Bähler AG: Die 32 Apotheken Pharmacist decides individually, you must ask first. .

Apotheken Dr. Noyer: Diese 5 Apotheken in Bern makeno charges when paying cash.

Rotpunkt-Apotheken (63 Apotheken, meist in der Deutschschweiz), Pharmacist decides individually, you must ask first.

Conpharm (27 Apotheken, hauptsächlich in der Nordwestschweiz) Pharmacist decides individually, you must ask first.

Toppharm (85 Apotheken, vor allem in der Deutschschweiz): Pharmacist decides individually, you must ask first.

Amavita-Apotheken: these 100 pharmacies DO charge for "Medikamenten" and "Bezugs" checks.. paying cash brings a 2.5% rebate and points for the Star card.

Coop-Vitality-Apotheken: All these 21 pharmacies DO charge for "Medikamenten" and "Bezugs" checksgeben aber pro eingelöstem Rezept 300 Punkte auf die Supercard. Bei Barzahlung gibt es 2,5 Prozent Rabatt.
