Is media influencing too much ?

I am just curious how many married men (w/wo kids) watches erotic stuff everyday from newspapers/videos/internet surfing/etc? Is media influencing too much our lives or men usually search these things doesn't matter single/ married or its the personal choices ?

I think men will likely seek out these things regardless of whether they're advertised or not. We're rather brutish creatures, really.

I don't bother any more, but that's because I've discovered Angry Birds.

Angry Birds Star Wars. Rocks.

But seriously - it's a free market in a sense, and some men tend to seek it out. I think some women do too. As the demand goes up, so does the supply. I don't really believe in censoring adults. I do think that people need to practice good sense. Nevertheless, if someone is addicted to porn, or erotica, perhaps that person needs help.

I agree that it's so much easier to get your hands on erotica online - used to be that you had to go to the newstand and buy those seedy mags in brown wrappers behind the counter or visit porn stores or shady movie houses.

Absolutely! Best thing ever!

I suspect that the hit-rates of internet porn sites are likely to plummet now that Angry Birds Star Wars exists.

One of the main reasons the internet developed into what it is today is largely because of Pornography.

Don't you trust your husband when reading a newspaper?

I don't quite follow what sort of pictures you mean, Radha. Could you post some for our scrutiny, please?

I was being sarcastic. This thread is obviously you fishing for ammunition to pull the noose tighter around your husband's neck. Is he cheating on you? Is he still a good and loyal husband? If you perceive that pictures in newspapers are causing problems in your marriage, then I'm sorry to tell you the problem may not be on your husband's end.

Sounds to me like it is. (or, perhaps, isn't often enough...)

Re: Is media influencing too much ?

But to answer your question. Yes, men are programmed to think about sex ALL the time. As a famous comic said: Women are occasional tourists into perversity. For men, it's a lifetime prison colony they're shipped to once they turn 12.

Well, If you have read my post carefully I said erotic stuff (nude, soft porn etc..) from all the media sources everyday which includes everything. Its not about cheating or loyalty, its the opinion I wanted to know from other people that if media is influencing our lives in some way or not.
