Looking for English-speaking speech pathologist in the Lausanne region

We're looking for an English-speaking pathologist for our 5 year old son. We don't mind traveling up to 45mins for the consultations: Lausanne, Vevey, Montreux, Aigle, Yverdon, Orbe, Morges, Nyon. Many thanks for any referrals!

If you need a specialist you'll probably need a referral from your GP. Have you asked him if he knows of anyone nearby?

Re: Looking for English-speaking speech pathologist in the Lausanne region

These people are like gold dust and frankly I have been unable to track anyone down with such a profile in NW Switzerland. So much so that we have switched our home language to French so that we can access better services.

But down by the lake you might fare better as there a couple of special english speaking (private) schools for children with communication deficits.

Try asking this yahoo group of parents. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Special-Kids-CH/

and also try ASK based in Geneva. (Www.allspecialkids.org) but in any event be prettty much prepared to travel anywhere and pay anything as it is a supplier's market I'm afraid. Good luck.
