Sorry about that. But can happen... some good biz needed to be promoted. Another good one I tried is rückenmassage in oerlikon. Also, nicole at activfitness in kloten is also good too
I know this is a very old thread but I just wanted to give a +10 thumbs up for Nicole at ActivFitess in Kloten.. I went there first based on this recommendation and I was truly amazed. I've got back problems and am quite picky about massage therapists as some are just no good (for me personally)... but Nicole is has some fantastic skills and speaks English very well which is a bonus.

Easy google "neck and back massage zurich prices" gives a good indication.

120sfr seems standard, not saying that is good (compared to the 1.5hr (£65) much better kneading I’m used to from my ex-Olympian javelin thrower in the UK...needing one NOW

And the Asian massages are pretty much all about exploiting asians, paying under existence wages and charging the earth. Basically slave labour.

Lower Back Pain massage/treatment

Looking for recommendations for anyone that can treat muscular/lower back pain in Zürich, without costing a fortune?!

Re: Lower Back Pain massage/treatment

What do you consider a fortune?

From the brief survey I did when looking for physiotherapy options, 'Heilungsmassage', for pain alleviation, seems to run about CHF 60-75 per 25 minute session. Expect the massage to last ca 15 minutes or so.

If your GP or other doctor prescribes physiotherapy massage, the cost of 9 sessions is usually covered by the Krankenkasse. (Some possible exceptions, as always..)

If you do not have a Verordnung from your GP or other doctor, the cost is on you.

As for other treatments: There are many options, what is right for you would be a discussion with your GP or other doctor.

A couple of my friends speak highly of the Balgrist clinic:
https://www.balgrist.ch/fachbereiche...ntrum-zuerich/

(This is one of the highly respected clinics in Zürich. Not inexpensive, cost according to Tarmed points as any medical provider here. But much ought to be picked up by the KK.)

I believe you need a referral from your GP.

Hope you find the treatment you need.

Re: Lower Back Pain massage/treatment

For lower Back Pain massage/treatment it's always best to visit your doctor first or you could go directly to a physiotherapist...

In case you need a physiotherapist I highly recommend one in Seefeld...whoever is interested could send me a pm...

Re: Good Massage Therapists in Zürich

I've been going to Cheryl for years. She can be as gentle as a feather and is able to happily adjust the pressure to 'pain'.

Not sure how she does it, but it's fantastic.

Re: Lower Back Pain massage/treatment

You can try Fernando at www.dermasseurzuhause.ch/en. He is located in Dübendorf and also offers home visits in/around Zürich. If you have the complimentary health cover with your health insurance you may be able to cover part of the costs as he is recognised by most insurances.

Re: Good Massage Therapists in Zürich

Can anyone else recommend a mobile masseur/euse in the region of Stafa. My son is doing his military duty and I thought it might be nice to book him a massage at home one weekend. The previous poster recommended someone in the Dübendorf area which I think is too far away from us. Thanks in advance.
