My dear, WE are thinking of YOU. YOUR reputation and YOUR safety. The Internet doesn't forget. Either report your own post, ikon top right of your post, or write to one of these guys and gals (the five names at the top) and ask for it to be removed and say why.

Personally, I'd never ask for diet advice on this forum. If you need advice on whether a medicine is available in Switzerland, go to an apothek - usually someone there speaks English.

Anyway .. If i was you, I'd abandon this particular thread. If you still need/want diet pills for whatever reason, see the doctor or pharmacist. If you have a UK prescription you can probably get it here in the pharmacy without seeing a doctor. Depends what it is and depends on the pharmacy, but it's worth a try.
But if you're new here, get your doctor sorted out or make sure your host family do it.
You might have noticed that you can't even buy a paracetamol here without going to the pharmacist!

| | Re: Diet pills | Quote: | | | | | Im from bury in manchester, and can i make a point that if iv been there the whole 18 years of my life i wouldnt use the correct grammar and punctuation where as someone who has learnt it in a different contry is taught thats this is the way to do it and theres no other way, for example im learning french but i wouldnt know any french 'slang' or shortcuts, but iv spoke it my whole life so i use the english shortcuts and dont add grammar and i know i have bad spelling!!! | | | | | I'm English and the level of your language use is shocking. (Unless you have dyslexia or similar issues)
I suggest you drop French and learn English. This is because a foreign language is easier to understand if you have a good grasp of your own.
This does not explain the 11 years at (least) spent at school wasted trying to teach you to write correctly, using full stops and paragraphs. I've highlighted some of your mistakes in red.
I'm not perfect but at least I try not to abuse the 16 years education I was given in the UK.
How did you manage to fill out the passport forms? Just interested. | This user would like to thank Cata1yst for this useful post: | | The following 2 users groan at Cata1yst for this post: | |

| | Re: Diet pills | Quote: | | | | Amber, as an au pair has your host family taken care of your health coverage? I believe it is one of the conditions of being an au pair, as well as language lessons, for example. For diabetic medication, you shouldn't be paying for it or any related prescribed medication. You should go and see a doctor and get a full assessment of your condition. | | | | | This is the most useful information in this thread. |

| | Re: Diet pills | Quote: | | | | | You wanna know the funny thing im qualified to work in schools cant be that bad now can i | | | | | That's not really funny is it? Education is a serious thing especially when the hopes and dreams of people's children could be in your hands. Even more so if you make a living from the situation.
To me that would be the first thing on my mind, what's the best I could do to ensure that the knowledge I pass on is correct, accurate and will help my audience? This means you must improve yourself.
Being "cute" and "forgetful" can only take you so far, it's certain life will give you some very harsh lessons in the future unless you change this. This is not about you as a personality. No one's perfect understandably but trying is better than a ignorance policy.
There are no short cuts in life as shown by this thread (you came in with one sentence and got torn apart)
Good luck and take it easy, if you're ever in Zug I'll spot you a beer. It been a while since I've heard a Bury accent |

This thread feels weirdly similar to one started by an au-pair earlier in the year, I can't find it, but it was called something like "I don't think my hours are fair".
