A cure for depression in women.

Well, it's in the Daily Mail, so it must be true.

I find it a little hard to swallow though.

Re: A cure for depression in women.

When I was young, healthy and virile, I thought I'd do my bit to the future continuance of the species and donate to the sperm bank.

As I was standing in line, I noticed a woman appear behind me.

- "You know this line is for the sperm bank?" I said

She just nodded.

Re: A cure for depression in women.

Just wondering does if the same works for depression in men ?
Can aptly call it " self cure "
With the title "A spoon a day keeps the depression away "

Wooow. Novartis watch out! Never thought that one day I'd consider myself as serious competition for pharma industry.

Re: A cure for depression in women.

It's not so illogical, after all it also contains Oxcytocin which is the hormone reponsible for triggering labour in a pregnant woman.
It's an old wives tale that intimacy can have an impact on starting contractions in a woman about to give birth.

Nope, doesn't work... and neither does eating a good strong curry, jumping up and down a lot, or drinking gin.

I do remember reading somewhere that semen was been used by elderly film stars for short-term facelifts. Being wrinkle-less for the evening might have made them happy, but too scared to show it in case something cracked!
