UK discovery - new Prostate Cancer test

If you have prostate cancer in the family, you should be on the lookout for this new test. It should be introduced in the UK later this year. In CH (who knows).

This new test, using a protein marker in the urine (yes, no blood test) is TWO times as accurate as the current gold standard PSA test. It still only catches 70% of the cancers but it also tells the Dr. the stage of the cancer. Very useful in the decision "watchful waiting" vs. immediate treatment.

Here is the link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...amination.html

No more excuses now (soon).
