How times change...the first time I took the plane alone was from Ghana to England. I was 10 years old.

My daughters used to go to Italy to visit their cousin who was going to school in Milano at that age, albeit by train, by themselves, and this was only 13 years ago.

When I was 13, my parents put me on the train to go to Milan to visit relatives, with a couple of sandwiches and a flask of water. No-one was concerned- and for me it was huge fun. ooops posts crossed st2l
