| | Is it possible to know if someone has the clinical doctor qualification?
A guy claims that he has medical practitioner's license in Switzerland but I have some doubt. Is it possible to check this by his name?

If you're that worried about it, why don't you just ask to see his diploma? Every doctor I've visited here has them hanging up in the reception area or waiting room anyway.

I saw that a "Swiss" medical institute is making some advertisement in my home country to attract people to come to their clinic in Switzerland for some injection treatment which scientifically has never been proved or even allowed. They claim to be a recognized Swiss clinic but their website is only in the language of my home country. On their website they said that they are insured for medical accidents but their advertised insurance paper is only a basic "RC privée" insurance in Switzerland. They advertise that they have a top doctor in Switzerland, but then from the website you mentioned I cannot find this guy's name at all.

And they said that their clinic is medically certified in Switzerland with an official paper, but the paper is only a standard commercial registration paper in Switzerland (I would imagine that you will get the same paper if you register a company) with only CHF 150,000 capital. So I highly doubt that they are really a certified clinic.
But anyway, it has nothing to do with me personally...

Health care is cantonal regulated and controlled.
If you know the canton where the clinic is you can ask them.
Canton official website have the address : www.XY.ch Where XY is the short form FR for Fribourg, ZH for Zurich.
Also you can check if the company registration is not a fake: www.zefix.ch | This user would like to thank aSwissInTheUS for this useful post: | |

Sounds perfectly legit to me.

1)how to bandage a sheep from a wolf's bite,
2)close the right window to prevent a draught
you too can be the holder of a AI/AR dual doctor/vet license |

This is the official website of the Swiss sanitary authorites, with all registered doctors, including those not registered on the FMH website. http://www.medregom.admin.ch/FR
(if a Dr is not FMH, he is not member of the Doctor's association - which is a bit odd)
