You see, you are making the same error again:
Sublime - if you are Swiss, I think you're in the wrong forum - you need the "I'm Swiss therefore I'm perfect" forum.

Otherwise you are being a bit of a d1ck.
The following 2 users would like to thank Tom1234 for this useful post:

Self-adulation is definitely frowned upon here in Switzerland, did you not know??
I do.. you don't seem to though..

Seriously though, let's leave this thread for the OP and his bad experience regarding the birth of his child. If you wish to debate the root of the cultural clash, start a thread on the topic...

It's possible, of course, as I said. But rather seldom. Of course I cannot draw a final conclusions. Only the involved one can ľ also to some extend only, however.
Seldom why? Based on what? Your theory the Swiss never behave in that way??

Because he did make everything wrong. I was there, do you remember!? I do not judge it was wrongly intended, but only percieve that he indeed did everything wrong he could do given the local (ruling) code of behavior. That's all I say.
No I wasn't there. As for your "local ruling code of behaviour" I could cite countless examples where a SWISS speaking MUNDART have done the same to me. It's not the foreigners who are always at fault.. the Swiss are just as rude (oh the shame)!

These are obviously your values, not mine, and in general not Swiss, neither!
It is quite clear they are not your values.. but they actually are Swiss.. and I make that statement based on 2 facts: 1) my personal experience as a swiss and 2) I and the Swiss I know must have got those values from somewhere..

I did not jump, and I do not conclude he did. I did not even say any comparable at all!!! These areľagain!ľall your conclusions!
I made no conclusion, I postulated a theory.

And I only said it reminds me about a comparable story I experienced, because of its comparable outcome. So there is a possibility that it had comparable reasons. BTW more than "once" percieved by me in reality (not just by hearsaying). And I only ask whether this could have been the real reason for the uncomfortable outcome ľ nothing else, no conclusion.
Not really, you "compared" the OP with this experience you had. Which is comparing apples with pears.

-And I appoligise to the OP.. I got suckered into derailing this thread... But I feel compelled to almost defend the honour of the Swiss who really are not as Sublime would have you all believe.

I think we've veered seriously off-course. Thread closed at OP's request.
