| | Physio in Zurich
I'm looking for a sports physio in Zurich, my Dr has given me a prescription, but no recommendations. I'd prefer a sports minded person if possible.
Does anyone have any positive experiences?
Thanks in advance

Thanks and that's nice but I won't say it as he needs Sports physiotherapy which is specialized branch oof physiotherapy. Sports physiotherapist usually has sport-specific knowledge that addresses acute, chronic and overuse injuries. I can imagine he needs muscle strengthening, balance & coordination exerciseses etc. I don't have such training (yet) but as you know I'm a Jack of All Trafes so who knows |

Going to bump an old post here
Looking for a sports physio somewhere in Baden, or even ZH, with good english communication. Also, anyone have an idea of what prices might be like for the first consultation?
I'm moving back home soon so if it's too expensive I might just tough it out and wait, since I have full insurance coverage back home .
Cheers

Cheers | | | | | I believe they charge according to a tax point system approved by the health insurances (but that also rolls over if you're paying out of pocket), so the price difference between providers won't be too big, but some will offer shorter treatment slots than others so you get less for that money.

Hello
I do physio and sport massages at the Sihlcity Sportklinik in Sihlcity Zurich - they are a reference when it comes to all sport-related problems. It's super fast to get an appointment, and they have several Sportklinik around ZH if the one in Sihlcity is too far away for you...

This is an old thread, but I've had a lot of experience in the last year with physios in Zurich. In case people are still searching it:
1. Adriano di Giacomo - he knows his stuff, has a private practice. Is an expert dry needler. http://www.physio-and-sports.ch/phys...nd_Sports.html
2. Sportklinik physios in general have been very good for rehabing general injuries. I go to the tödistrasse location now, but have heard good things from teammates who go to other locations as well.
