Re: English speaking club for children

Club is effectively free of charge. Current participants have agreed to pay CHF5 each session as contribution for materials and refreshments.

Hmmm, I'm a Winterthurerer. Or Winterthurite. Or Winterthurion. Whatever.

Are you talking Friday afternoons after school?
Or is your idea for pre-school age kids?

I've got 3 x Kiwi-speaking kids (different to 'English' you know) - I'll PM you, this sounds interesting....

Re: English speaking club for children

Any more details on this? We live in Zurich, but I'm sure my wife and daughter could get to Winterthur. What are the age ranges of the kids?

My daughter is 2 years old and my wife and I are looking for activities/groups/places where we can meet more families with children her age. My wife has had difficulties meeting English speaking kids our daughters age.

I would be interested in taking my son who will be six in Dec. Please let me know if he would fit the age range. Thanks!

Re: English speaking club for children

Hi,
We have a group for children aged four upwards. This is alternate Friday afternoons and we are kicking this new group off on Friday 5th September with a grill in the woods. This is a mum run group with a different activity each week. Ages are currently around 4 to 7.
I'm also running a group on Friday mornings for mums (or dads) to come along to with the child. This includes singing, movement, and of course play. This is aimed at pre-school aged children who are able to walk, i.e. 1 year to 4 years.
Can you private message me and I can provide you with more details.

Re: English speaking club for children

We recently moved from CHicago to Zurich and my 5-year old son is enrolled in the local public school, but unfortunately he cannot communicate with the kids yet. We are looking for families with kids around his age to socialize with. Is this group still getting together, and is there a chance that weekend activities can be organized?

Looking forward to hearing from people.

Olga
