Cranial Osteopathy for New Babies

Hi there

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of or has experience of a good cranial osteopath for a new born baby in the Geneva-Vaud regions. I'm giving birth in early August (hopefully) and would love to find one who can work with my baby once it's born.

Try this site. Should have all the therapists in Switzerland listed. We go to Loic Tremel in Zurich, Seefeld. Can recommend both himself and his partner.

Re: Cranial Osteopathy for New Babies

It is often used in babies who have had a "traumatic birth" such as a c-section. It is also used as a treatment for colic or babies who scream a lot. I don't know if it is scientificaly proven or not but it does not do babies any harm as it is a very gentle treatment.

Shouldn't you wait for a referral from your child's doctor after birth?

My son's osteopath wouldn't treat him until he was at least 10 weeks old. My experience was it was more painful seeing him scream during treatment then the results.
