Some forum members may be susceptible to dementia in later life.

Judging by the some of the weird humour demonstrated here, a few of us may be more likely to develop dementia in later life, according to a recent study.

I'll be the first to raise my hand.

On the radio they said it could be around nine years.

Basically the brain is affected and so cannot process the thinking required for sophisticated humour.

I've seen the same symptoms in a heavy marijuana user including the laughing at misfortune.

Why leave out the Brits?

Sure there is some interesting stuff out there, but they (we) have our fare share of shitty slapstick stuff.

This is apparently due to changes in the sense of humour. If you have always been like that does it mean that you are safe?

"This form of dementia is the most common in under 55s."
Does that mean you can be as sick-humoured as you like after that age?
