Why Are Cancer Genes Changed Based on Beliefs?

I don´t know if you are familiar with "Bruce Lipton"? Anyhow - http://www.learn.hayhouseu.com/biolo...deo2-whycancer

"When we know our beliefs control our genetic activity, it gives us the power to maintain our health—regardless of what genes we have.

In the second video of this free video series, I will tell you what you need to know about how our cells are controlled by environmental signals. I will debunk the idea that there is any gene that causes cancer and explain what really controls your genetics: your beliefs.

Beliefs can change gene expression. They can cause mutant genes to read as normal genes – as well as normal genes to read as mutant genes; it all starts with what you believe. You have power over your biology and therefore the influence to maintain your health no matter what your DNA says.

The first video is about research on how changing your mind and beliefs changes your genetics. Both videos are only available for a limited time, so make sure to watch before they are gone! (Located above the second video)"

Re: Why Are Cancer Genes Changed Based on Beliefs?

I have a strong aversion against snakeoil healers pushing their books, tinctures, movies and what not. There seems to be more and more new age stuff popping up everyday fooling vulnerable and desperate people. While I can accept that their charm alone can actually help an ill person feel more hopeful, I hate the idea of people being ripped off with promises for cures by investing in unscientific crap.
There is a reason why Bruce Lipton remains ignored by scientists. Many oncologists, such as Gorski have mocked Lipton, due to his apparent inability to correctly comprehend evolutionary biology. Wished there were stricter laws so faith healers (charlatans) like him would be forced to admit that what they are doing is spreading a made-up idea/hypothesis that lacks scientific evidence and hiding behind a facade that leads people to believe they know what they are talking about .

I suppose then that those who suffer from cystic fibrosis, Down Syndrome, Sickle Cell Disease, and other genetic disorders have chosen personally to live with these disorders because they have not "exercised power over their own biology" and "controlled" their genome properly?

Oh boy did the OP ever misjudge the demographic here on EF.
We have to leave this tread open, this is going to be good.

maybe I should take some gipfeli to apologise for the news....

Ok, my Cigar is done, I'm going to have a couple of cervelat, then spend 20 minutes imagining that I look like George Clooney, only a bit more rugged and intelligent.

Send me a P.M. ladies.

Tell me if it works, I'll be on the first train. Am also interested if you manage a good Sullivan Stapleton resemblance.

I'm currently working on my Amal Clooney look, but I'm flexible if you have other preferences.

Shit, you broke my concentration, now I'm going to look like a cross between an Amal carburettor and George Clooney wearing a Gilbert & Sullivan costume.

Mine's a pint, please (of whatever juice Alkalarian is on...).

Do you read the stuff you post? Or is it like automatic writing and you have "no" control over it?

If you really believe it, then you're delusional. If you don't believe it then, at best, you're a bit of a spoon.
