Prescription Glasses Repaired?

Hello. My son broke the arm off his prescription glasses. Was hoping someone could suggest where we could go either in person or via online to get them repaired for a reasonable price.Thanks.

You still have Australia as your location.

Any optician. Fielmann claims they're the cheapest in anything ....

That may no longer be true due to McOptic and perhaps others.

Quite some years ago the pad of my glasses broke off. They applied a new one for free, didn't care that I had bought them somewhere else. Been using them ever since, very good and friendly service and low price (though in Germany they may well be even cheaper, haven't checked for many years).

The only drawback is, in the two shops I use they usually have a few customers waiting already so you can't just pop in and expect to get served right away.

With that said, I doubt Fielmann are doing business in Oz

Re: Prescription Glasses Repaired?

Optic2000 and visilab have both repaired my son's glasses from free in similar circumstances despite us not having bought them from either of those places.
Any opticians should be able to do it for you.
