very funny, Big Man, humours indeed! Leeches are an unproven technique.

What would interest me most is an academic institution with alternative thinkers and solutionaries

Pubs are full of alternative thinkers and solutionaries (solutionaries???). They are ten a penny. You don't want a university, you want a pub, where people conduct experiments on themselves regarding alcohol consumption and talk bollocks. What's not to like?

OP: if you want advice on homeopathy here is not the place to come. The advice you get will be totally valid but totally not what you want to hear....

The clever thing is that you don't actually need to give anything at all, but the people will still get it. Isn't homeopathy bullsclever!

By the way, I put a piece of popcorn into a sink full of water which I've now flushed into the sewage system. So, popcorn for all!

Pilatesfan, this is not the right place/forum to ask these kind of questions. Save yourself the embarrassment and look for a forum that deals with homeopathy or whatever, but not EF

Completely wrong. The number of homeopathy supporters is vastly less than those who have some scientific training and understand that it's nothing more than magic potions. That being the case, the homeopathy supporters here must be extremely potent.

In the meantime, some background reading.

Why not? Some of the advice has been excellent, some ignorant and foolish.

Re: Training to become a Homeopathic Doctor

I would love to help you here, and I am open to many things and have tried many things (my GP here in CH is also into homeopathy) but I have to say that scientific study after scientific study says it doesn't work.

Whilst I would also say that science isn't always right, if homeopathy is just a placebo then ok, but if people go down the homeopathy route and nothing happens then I think it is all a load of BS.

Re: Training to become a Homeopathic Doctor

I've just had a banner advert inviting me to join the institute of Integrative Nutrition, a holistic institution. So there must be a mother ship. Apparently I can "become a health coach today".

I'm on it. Just as soon as I finish the Christmas chocolate.

OK. I visited the site. Good grief. It's very carefully worded.

Not sure. Don't think booze is allowed when you're learning how to make your body a temple. Apparently you will be licensed in the state of New York, which is very handy for CH.

Aren't most homeopathy tinctures 99.99% alcohol? Quaff enough of them and you can get drunk and maybe clear up your sinus infection at the same time.

Brandy, I believe. My GP has given me some Bach Flower Remedies so I thought I would read up on them. Interesting reading but not at all credible.
