Same thing with the folks who say don't bother with medical treatment, god/allah/the spaghetti monster will cure you if you believe. My ass.

Indeed, I think He said 'don't ask me, I invented doctors to that'.

Homeopathy. A desperate belief by weak minded people in unproven, unscientific practices that belong in the dark ages and have no place in modern society.

I will pray for you.

It is an oxymoron. A contraction in terms.

And yes, I know that is tautological.
That's not tautological, but you may be confusing the OP. I don't think s/he is looking for pregnancy-related courses.

I saw this thread when it was 2 post old and saw it grow into a thanks fest of epic proportions. I needed something good to maximise the potential. Clearly without reading the whole thread posted my shitty joke and got 0 thanks.

A conundrum for a homeopathy believer.

Take some poo - it can be animal or human
Place in a container
Dilute a billion times with water
Take a sample

Now offer the believer the water to drink. Do they believe it is safe to drink?

There's a Donald Trump version of that...

Re: Training to become a Homeopathic Doctor

As mentioned by many before, the homeopathic method has merit through the placebo effect. The placebo effect has been widely studied, accepted, and prescribed by many professional physicians.

Of course, one of the main aspects of the placebo effect is unawareness of the patient. So if the patience believes that it works, whether it's sugar water, Jesus tears, praying, meditation, or homeopathic doses--there can be positive results.

The main thing that professionals have to consider is when a placebo effect can be beneficial, and when traditional medical treatments are an obvious requirement.

I would hope that a physician with 'holistic' training would receive this knowledge and use the treatment effectively.
