Water testing?

We have some old looking pipes that recently were disturbed by construction in the building, and for a short time the water was coming out a rusty reddish color. Looks and tastes fine now, but it got me wondering. I'd like to have it tested but can't figure out where I can take it. Anybody know? This is sometimes provided as a free public service in other countries, but here in CH?

I don't see any info on getting water tested there, only about how the various municipalities go about testing their supply.

Anybody know of a place I can bring a sample to be tested?
