faiseurs de secret

I don't know French to read more about faiseurs de secret. Is this a real thing? Does anyone know of a coupeur de feu? If so, do you have contact information to post here or PM me? Can it be done over the phone or must it be done in person in Geneva or other location? I've read some of these healers work in burn units at hospitals. I've also read that different conditions can be healed besides burns so I'm also interested in various healers or I'm not sure what you call them in Switzerland?

Re: faiseurs de secret

I have never heard of it, but here is an article in English. Sounds like mumbo jumbo to me.

Thanks, that's the article I read since it's in English. I think the articles and books with all the contact information are in French.

So did I...until a colleague of mine took me kicking and screaming to one of them after a severe bout of shingles...what happened next was described in detail in a thread somewhere on EF, so I'm not going to repeat myself.

The experience left me not only cured but humbled.

Yes it happens, Yes people believe in it so other people can earn money with it.

For the rest it is just nonsense for those who are weak of mind imho.

It is for free or if a fee, then only a small one

Even if some people accept a small gesture or a small amount of money slipped into an envelope as a thank-you, treatment is mostly given free of charge. The few attempts to make a business of the practice have usually solicited outbursts of strong indignation.

Weak of mind is going to kick you in the goolies!

My lovely lady cost me a "merci, madame" and nothing else. I am sceptical of many things, this was one of them, but no longer. At least I'm not going on patronising or insulting those who do.

Hello everyone,
I was sent a website link of someone in Switzerland who runs a business doing this. I was about to set up a Skype phone call with him, but I canceled it when he requested $200 franc.

As mentioned in PM, white witches around here who ask for no money or anything in return tend to work with local hospitals and will heal within the local community, as a service to their community. It's the risk with "business orientated" ones and there is no guarantee that they can do anything.

You live in the US and therefore, unless you find the US equivalent, will stand at the mercy of "Business-Set healers", I'm afraid. 200 CHF btw seems a little steep to me if it's for just an initial contact. Did he offer you a "Refund policy if no results"?

No, he didn't offer a refund for no results. It seemed like a scam.

Re: faiseurs de secret

I think witches in the USA are called pagans? One was a cowroker of my friendw who asked me to attend her party with him? I told him I wanted to leave early when I heard they were plannign to run naked in the woods most of the night for a ritual. They didn't seem like healers to me.

Then best to keep away. Did you try to contact the lady who completely removed my burns? I doubt she speaks any English, though, but at least she doesn't charge anything.

Sorry I could not be of further assistance.

Re: faiseurs de secret

Any real couper de feu will not take any money and you will not find them on the internet.

Real ones work for the community and aren't out advertising.

Like McTavge, I'm a sceptic who has actually seen this work!
