As to the question: should one go for veneers or not? It depends. If you have stains on your teeth or want to achieve a whiteness of your smile that is significantly lighter than your natural tooth color, or if you have chipped teeth, then veneers are a great option. Most of the people you see on TV have them. If you are happy with the color of your teeth (after tooth whitening) and do not have chipping, then there are other options you can go for (whitening and teeth alignment to close uneven gaps). | |

I've been told veneers aren't an option for me - I have several chips, and additionally my teeth aren't straight (my two front teeth, for example - one is heavily overlapping the other). But I'll take a look into a day trip to you so you can investigate and tell me your professional opinion in person
there are no in-office whitening products we have seen offered by vendors in the last 20 years (or their at-home derivatives) that include NaCIO. There are some OTC at-home products we have read about that include CIO2, but no normal dentist will recommend those to you as CIO2 was proven in studies to reduce teeth hardiness and increase risk of abrasions.
