I cannot help you, but maybe others can if they know if you need someone doing kinesiology or someone doing applied kinesiology. Those are two completely different fields.

Think of kinesiology vs. applied kinesiology as something like astronomy vs. astrology or pharmacology vs. homeopathy.

Since nobody asked about applied Kinesiology the answer is no, if such was ment it is even worse. The mentalist at least uses real science/knowledge to perform whereas applied Kinesiology is only a placebo which however does distract from real medical care.

I brought that distinction up because here in Trumpistan most MDs and quacks that practice applied kinesiology just call it kinesiology, and not that long ago that was the case in Switzerland too.

You can do it yourself (fingertest is one version). It's actually quite fun, it works (well, I can say that for the questions you know the correct answers to ).

It is not like an apple: It does not keep the doctor away.

Re: Can anyone recommend a kinesiologist in Zurich

To Pyn, or anyone with an opinion - my back locked up in Dec. It eased out but turned into shoulder-neck pain, topped off by a headache that feels likes it is directly attached to my shoulder. I have no medical history but my doc postulated that it may be a reaction to a stressing event that triggered things.

I have tried a chiropractor and an osteopath, ongoing with the latter. The two approaches do not seem wildly different to me. I am doing yoga and aerobic exercise. I am also interested to try anything, given the presence of the headache in particular. Could (real) kinesiology be helpful for this in anyone's experience? Or maybe there are comments about other therapies that people have found to be most effective for back-shoulder-neck? (Not trying to hijack the thread though).

Re: Can anyone recommend a kinesiologist in Zurich

Many people today are suffering from, neck, back and shoulder pain due to improper posture. A huge cause is the telephones and computer use.

I would suggest better chairs , a different mouse that prevents the arm out and for some of us older people you can get speical computer glasses so that I do have crink my neck as I look through my bifocolled glasses.

Yes, stress can also a big cause. I am a neurofeedback trainer for 20 years. The first I did it on myself the pain went away.

Also whiplash is bad. Can last for a long time.
