Krippe not checking/changing dirty nappies

For the parents who send their children to krippe, do you know if they have a policy for how often they check or change your kids nappies? And do they write it in a diary?

We've had multiple times where a nappy obviously wasn't changed for either the whole time our son was at krippe or for at least several hours, on a few of those occasions it was just so obvious he had pooped (could smell him coming!) that I wonder how they could have not realised? And it definitely hadn't just happened. Another time it was so full it was falling down and leaking through his pants.

I asked what their policy was and if they kept record and they said they change it at nap time and after eating and that they don't keep record, and when I asked on one of the days he was there and had eaten and stayed for nap time if it was checked at all that day they said no.
I'm annoyed as he's gotten a bit of a sore bum on these occasions and it makes me wonder what is going on but i'm also trying to be level headed.
So can you share your experiences?
And before any one asks yes we've been trying to potty train but he's reluctant and it's slow going.

Re: Krippe not checking/changing dirty nappies

Is it a krippe that provides nappies as part of the overall price or do you have to keep them supplied?

If it's the former, perhaps they are sneakily trying to save money.

It's pretty poor form to leave little ones squelching in their own waste all day. When my son was still in nappies, his krippe were pretty good at keeping him fresh.

They also logged (pardon the pun) when they changed the nappies and whether it was a No. 1 or a No. 2. We've kept the charts for inspection by his future first girlfriend...

Ours used to change them regularly, keep a record, and ensure a fresh one was put on just before collection.

(who wants a smelly nappy, leaking and soiling the car seat on the way home?).

Best to find another krippe, one that has the childs wellbeing above their own interests in contrary to that "shithole"

The moment they would say no to me when it comes to changing diapers would be the same moment I would sign my kid out and they could drag me to court to get any outstanding money for any remaining contract period.
