All it took was one infected person to enter Italy for the Coronavirus to spread throughout Europe. Just one person. That's how contagious this flu is.

There's no way closing the border would keep the virus at bay. People need to live, trade and work. Basically, we're going to have to learn how to live with this virus until:

- we find a vaccine
- it disappears on its own

You don't know how many infected persons entered Italy/Europe. In Germany they have cases they have no idea how those persons got infected as they couldn't track connections/contacts with people who travelled to and from China or other sensitive spots.

There are numerous articles that refer to the allusive patient zero.

I heard from a guy in the pub that it was spreading through infected pasta coming out of Italy

If you have pasta at home you should boil it to kill the virus.
Yes I heard from the same guy the people in Greenland are really green!

Patient 0 of the epidemics in Bergamo or Lombardia is not necessarily patient 0 of the epidemics in Hamburg, Germany.

And even one region like Lombardia could have 10 different patient zero's

Actually, the newest cases in Europe almost all stem from Northern Italy.

Then you shouldn't be having pasta cooked or uncooked. I'd avoid it at all costs as your immune system won't know what hit it. It'd be pasta la vista for you.

Re: Coronavirus

Let me get this right just from posts in this thread:

Ticino 1
Aargau 1
Geneva 1
Grisons 2
Graubünden 2

It might be worth saving this link for the official updates in English which gives the current number of confirmed cases as:

Ticino 1
Geneva 1
Graubünden 2

Are you possibly forgetting that Grisons IS English for Graubünden?

It's only the unconfirmed Aargau case that is different....

You can quadruple the amount of cases if you list each canton in all national languages. And that would be pc, no?

Thanks Tom.
I'd been looking for a 10k piece jigsaw in case we end up in lockdown, but now I'll relearn all the canton names in all the languages instead.
