The only place where there is 100% compliance with masks, hand sanitizing, and strict distancing is the vet clinic. During the lockdown-that-wasn't-really-a-lockdown the clinic remained open but owners were not allowed to attend procedures, so we know what is at stake if we have to go back to that.
On day 1 of lockdown, I walked past our local vets' new surgery just as a 6ft tall standpipe was being fitted immediately outside on their parking area. Turned out it was for hosing down the exterior of the clinic and parking area, and it's since been removed. He also put cafe style tables and chairs outside as a waiting area.

The most detrimental thing at our vineyard is the lack of sales to restaurants. They are the ones suffering, as well as hotels, and that translates directly to wine sales. So, yes, not a good year for us vignerons.
Every week throughout lockdown, our local vineyard phoned to ask if we wanted a crate delivered. OH always got to the phone before me and declined their exceptionally kind offer, and got a bollocking from me each time. As a result, I'm one of the few whose alcohol consumption decreased during lockdown and it's all his fault!!! Git!!!

Saw a socially distanced outside birthday party at one of the bars a couple of nights ago, where most of the guests were over 50, so I'd say it all feels like midwinter has come a little early with a few exceptions.
Seems pretty reasonable. After all ...

... "winter is coming".

Here is another very good article on T3 Cell Immunity via NYMagazine:

https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2020....html#comments
and I posted earlier article about T-cells immunity from Swedish doctors
the point is that human immunity system slightly more complicated, then it presented in articles #covidimmunitydoesnotlastslong
this, btw, may answer questions why in couple living in same apartments, one has covid, second dont even sneezed
afaik, detection t-cell immunity is not easy process, that's why its not studied that much for now
here some more info about t-cells immunity, how long it lasts etc:

More on the high-level pandemic exercise Event 201 back on the 18th October, 2019, that took place in New York
including more videos and research material.

The Radio 5 Live “Up All Night” interview link in the Event 201 resource website below is particularly interesting.

Aren't football players exempt from quarantaine in the UK?

Plenty of exemptions if you look at the government website.

I thought that was for players that come to play- not back to live and play.

One of Denmark's most prominent epidemiology researchers has said that the coronavirus pandemic in Sweden "may be finished" due to immunity in the population, even through the country remains far from the classic 60 percent threshold.

"There are indications that the Swedes have gained an element of immunity to the disease, which, together with everything else they are doing to prevent the infection from spreading, is enough to keep the disease down," Kim Sneppen, professor of biocomplexity at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, told the Politiken newspaper.
Well done Sweden!

That looks horribly like a recorded statement just waiting to bite Prof Sneppen in the butt.

Oh, good. So those 5,865 people didn't die for nothing, not to mention those 2,588 people who required intensive care.

Yay!

Coronavirus Sweden: 200 doctors, scientists challenge Sweden’s official version of events
Doctors in Sweden are furious about a report they say exposes “cherry-picked” data and pushes “lies” about the country’s COVID-19 success.
Source

For example, there is no good data about schools because Sweden’s leading epidemiologist Anders Tegnell paused the collection of data from children because he thought it would create anxiety among the public.
