They have plenty here. Our local pharmacy has both alcohol and their home produced sanitiser for sale.
It's still far from armageddon but getting noticeable.. my kids school recommended they have hand gel.. Tried 5 pharmas at lunchtime and no joy. So I made my own for them.

Local big COOP has many empty or near empty shelves for dried and tinned stuff.. Eggs, cheese, meat, milk, veg, fruit still plentiful.

COOP today

No luck where I live on Saturday, no luck today. They might, might get some on Wednesday.

I didn't really try all pharmacies or parfumeries in the canton though. I found some half empty hand sanitisers in my medicine drawer so for the moment we're good.

Driving randomly around will only get you some with real luck, better to scroll back in this topic since some places are named that make their own and give those a call when you could pick up some (or call your local one, if they don't make they should know who does)

Re: Coronavirus

She was returning from working for a few years for a very posh family in Bucharest, linked to the Royal family. Stripped and searched at border - they found print and she was accused of being a spy for Royal family. No idea how she got away. She refused to bring back gold and jewellery, and this probably saved her life. (she then went to work for the Skoda family in Czecholovakia- now Slovakia).

Re: Coronavirus

Us Vaud teachers have received official recommendations to stop shaking students’hands at the beginning and end of lessons

And my daughter’s visit at the school dentist this morning with her class was cancelled. Considering dentists wear face masks and hopefully change their instruments between each little patient I don’t really see the point

This morning in the office I someone stuck a piece of paper with recommendations to avoid contagion. One of them was "avoid hand-shaking".....we just laughed because our usual morning politeness is limited to a friendly guttural noise, the secretary is entitled to a "guten morgen", hand shakes are for clients

My kid also brought home an information sheet about the virus today. It says if one of your kids is sick then all siblings have to stay at home too.
Also gave a handy YouTube link about how to wash your hands

Christoph Blocher's nasty daughter hey. The SVP/UDC is going to, of course, enjoy every minute of foreign bashing and blaming, for sure.

Get my coat ...

Corona cream soda with salt around the rim of the glass. Oh, and the limeade with a vanilla ice cream float.

Groan expected and assumed. Already baking their claim for the vote on ending Free Movement in May- which would aleniate our relationship with the EU and totally isolate us, affect our already hard hit industries, research, universities, and so much more. Building fears against foreigners.

Alas, it unfortunately isn't likely to pass.

Pity.

Things were almost like the old days last week due to the corona paranoia.

I only remember if from when we were on holiday, we had a local pop company (Ben Shaws) that delivered to us.
