Does anyone know somewhere in Zurich that can provide the test in English? Need it in English, French or Spanish to travel to UK
Worst case can do at the Airport but then it is 80chf

| | PCR covid test in Zurich, price, where
I need a PCR for traveling. Flight on Monday, so I need to do the test on Saturday.
It must be PCR, not the fast one.
Any idea about where to do it and pricing?

Has anyone used viselio.com in Radisson Blu at the airport for PCR test?

Getting really annoyed that test centres don't seem able to guarantee results for a Tuesday afternoon flight. Most say the results will be back in 24-48 hours, best one we've found so far says 24-36 hours, which means that even an early Monday morning appointment doesn't guarantee getting the results back in time for our 1600 departure.
I seem to be going round in circles and still haven't found a solution that works - noone seems to be open for tests on Saturday afternoon, i.e. within the 72 hours window, so I just don't see any way we can guarantee it. Any ideas welcome, although I'm not expecting a magic wand here.
(We're in Valais, BTW, flying from Geneva, so no suggestions for sites in Zurich, please).

I know you said not Zurich, but maybe still check if the one at Zurich airport that has a result 5 hours after pick up by courier has some other branches in Switzerland?

A notice a couple of unanswered questions earlier in the thread which prompted me to check; the 72 hour period is before arrival (at least, this is true for where we're flying to) and it's a requirement to show the test on arrival. Does this mean that it's not needed at the departure airport?
Anyone flown recently and can confirm - do the airlines (Easyjet in this case) require the test result before letting you fly?
Reason being, our arrival time is about 36 hours after the earliest Monday morning appointment I could get with the place saying results take 24-36, so I should be able to trust that it would come through before arrival...

If you can go to GVA on the Monday afternoon (also open Sunday)...... https://www.m3-test.ch
They will definitely need your test on boarding.

The PCR test not older than 72 hours on entry to your destination (or so I think I understand) and taking up to 36 hours at present is a bit of an annoyance. It's like a game, a challenge, something designed to break you down and make you sit at home forever.
You will show it at the airport and the bright spark might check your arrival time too. Check in does want to see it. The airline does not want the expense and inconvenience of shipping you back.....
What you don't want is squeaky bum time if your result is not back PLUS you are really nervous when your flight is delayed.

They will definitely need your test on boarding. | | | | | Booked now. There's actually another centre in Geneva a little closer to us than the airport, open normal working hours, whereas the airport one is, as you say, also open on Sundays.
They also do, for an additional chf50, an expedited same day results service. That's on top of the chf155 for the saliva PCR test (150 for the more invasive nasopharyngeal test) that we'll have to pay anyway, and 24 hours gives plenty of leeway, so we won't be needing that.
Thanks for the help, by the way. I'd already searched the airport website without finding it.

The results were back in about 15 hours. It's pricey for such a quick test but was worth it and 1000% better than a nasal swab. |

Has anybody done a test for symptoms, ideally at Kasernenareal? They mention that they send an "unencrypted email" to confirm the result. What information is in that email? I need it for a private event that requires proof of negative if somebody is experiencing any kind of symptoms.
