| | Covid Test sites? (Needed quick results for travel)
Hi all -
I have to travel quickly to Boston next week for personal reasons and MA just put into law a requirement for either negative Covid test results (from a sample taken within 72 hours) or 2 week quarantine (not really an option for me). I thought it should be easy to figure out where to get a rapid Coronavirus test and go on Monday after work (I fly Wed), but my internet search skills are failing me any ideas here? I work near Bern, live in Aarau, and fly from Zurich so testing site needs to be in/near one of those three locations...
I tried calling my doctors office (which I have never talked to before - I’m relatively new to CH), but the call just disconnects :/
Also, does anyone know if the test is covered by my insurance (either under travel or regular medical expenses)?

Hello,
The best location I have found is in Zurich --> https://coronatest.uzh.ch/en/.
Given the situation I would anyway prepare for the 14 days quarantine

I was tested in my house doctors at 1530, had a phone call and email at 1100 the next day with results and the letter arrived the following day. I'm not sure is that sufficient for your purposes.

They get results back within 4 hrs now. At Nyon hospital, for example, you have to schedule now for COVID-19 screening test

I don’t need one (touch wood) but I might.

| | Covid walk-in/rapid test sites (for travel-without prescription) in Fribourg
Does anyone know if there are any in Fribourg? I know about this one in Yverdon-les-bains but couldn't find closer ones in Fribourg.
Cheers

Actually I've checked that link before I post here, I must have over looked the paragraph where they say it is possible to do it at the Cantonal hospital without a doctor's note.

I'm not sure what part of CH you're in, but I see that you can book a test through here (including if it's for a trip -- or so the website says): https://coronatest.uzh.ch/en/
I think many (perhaps even most) hospitals in CH have a similar system to that one, now... where you can schedule a test through their website.

Hi,
In "French Part of CH" I know that there is a test lab in Boudry (NE) which I believe takes walk ins. www.etilab.ch
All the best.

I was at Unilabs in Coppet yesterday. There was a sign that said they would do a Covid (both types) test for Swiss residents with insurance provided they had a doctor’s note.
They also had a sign at the front (revolving) door prohibiting anyone with Covid Symptoms from entering their building.

All the best. | | | | | Yes, half of our village went there to get tested following a residents meeting after it was later discovered a couple of people had Covid.
They got the results within 24 hours and over half of the attendees had been infected.
This was the week before last, they may have changed their walk in policy since then.

| | COVID Test Certifiate?
I'm due to travel in a week, and need to get a "COVID test certificate within 72 hours of landing"...
Any ideas if a "normal" covid test does this? The only time I did a covid test, I just got a phone call telling me I was negative... nothing else.
