Serious depression

I got attacked back in Basel last year and nearly lost my life
I have been raped majority of my life in the United Kingdom before I moved to CH
I can go on and on about my life but there is no point.

For someone that is deeply depressed what can an expat do here in Switzerland to get support with limited money.

What you would do anywhere else. Talk to your doctor who'll then give you medication or send you to a specialist.

Thats the insurance co's problem. I had an ex, Swiss from birth always lived in CH who paid roughly 1 premium a year & owed the insurance over 100k. Nothing they can do as she receives social benefits & refuses to work as her debts are high.

Medication is notoriously unhelpful in PTSD, which is likely what she's suggesting.

The solution is a care team including a psychiatrist and a psychologist that specialises in trauma. Delegated therapy by a psychologist under the supervision of a psychiatrist is covered under the basic health insurance. Be sure to search for a psychologist that specialises in trauma and not someone that just wants to do psychoanalysis.

I worked out "Justin" had several personas ages ago, it was the algorithms in the writing.
A word about whoever the OP really is, if he wants to be taken seriously he needs to be a better liar because nothing he posts adds up. It's either that or he really does have multiple personality syndrome and needs help, but I suspect it's just an idiot who likes trolling.

It beats me why anyone takes it seriously tbh

EMDR is the preferred treatment at the moment but good luck actually getting an appointment with someone who is covered by health insurance, there are not enough therapists to cover all the people who need their help. I actually created an Excel sheet a few years ago in my quest to maybe finally get this sorted (the hypervigilance, disassociating and "crying at the drop of a hat" were particularly bad back then) and would basically go through the list to check back every two months as well as checking if there were new people offering it. After the third round of this, I gave up.

It hacks me off when people cry wolf to get attention especially when they do it with something that is a very real and very upsetting subject for many people who don't dare speak out. So if this is the case, my contempt for the OP is huge. Almost as huge as it is for Cinnamon Hitler. The very odd wording strongly suggests complete fabrication.

Ahh, so now you are adding: "raped most of you life" to the list?

You are correct that you there is no point going on, considering there is a very high chance that you are a troll and that none of your posts convey factual coherence and sincerity. A casual bombshell statement like: "I was raped majority of my life" and then "I could go on but there is no point" are two statements that you generally wouldn't find following each other and that don't even make sense.

The mods need to put a stop to this before you make a fool of people on this forum who are too nice and naive to know when they are being trolled and who will inevitably put some effort into some serious replies.

Having the odd fool poster is quite amusing, I think we should keep Justin for now especially when a favourite fool received a lifelong ban a few days ago

Part of social benefits is health insurance, paid directly.
So it was paid.

You may be correct, Chuff. Just like anything else that anyone posts, I have no idea whether Justin is stringing us along, or is for real. Justin could very well be a troll, trying to get attention, trying to make fun of whoever bothers to respond to him.

The reason I put in some effort, is just in case, just in case the bits and pieces that Justin has written really do add up to a more or less true narrative.

Certainly his posts here: in need, all over the show, sometimes contradictory, struggling to actually go out there and get help, not really knowing in which country he should be, confusion with money, not taking up the help offered, retreating and going silent, then cranking himself up again to ask for help yet again, could be understood as behaviour following having been severely traumatised.

Purely physically, a severe blow to the head (as he said he suffered) and malnutrition (as he said he is/was anorexic) can result in confused thinking.

If he's for real, he's young, lonely, poor and feeling very displaced, and in addition, he has a lot of inhibitions (from severe facial scarring) and several mental disorders (that's not me saying it, but him), with some good phases.

This forum has compassionately helped more than one young (or not so young) person to find their way, and not get into legal trouble, and prevented worse. As I see it, just in case some or all of the muddle and desperation Justin posts is, in one way or another, true, there's no need to risk exacerbating his situation and pushing him over the edge.

No need to explain doropfiz, you just keep doing what you do, it's your free time to spend (and waste, like many of us do in various other ways) as you wish.

If that happens to be true, then yes, he needs help. Very serious help. Even if he's just a scared and scarred young man, drifting a bit, he needs help.

Indeed, even if Justin is a silly and nasty troll (and as I've said before, I agree with you that his writing is inconsistent, both content-wise and stylistically)... well, anyone who does that just to annoy or get attention probably needs help, too, albeit in a completely different way.

Yeah, I do. And besides explaining, I was also appealing for others to refrain from potentially doing damage.

Why? Just in case, just in case, he is, indeed, a real person in need of real help. And because, if that's the case, and if even half of the suffering and messes he describes are true, then what he definitely does not need is condemnation and mocking.

Remember, none of us knows, for sure (except Justin), what he's about (even if it's trolling).

I simply see neither rationality nor humankindness in anyone willingly taking the risk that their online post might make someone else's life worse and could even end up being, for some unknown person out there, the straw that breaks a camel's back.
