legal counselling (spanish) in Basel

Hello,

I'm in a troublesome situation. I came with my wife and my two kids (15 years girl and 12 years boy) two years ago to Switzerland after I got a really good offer to work here. She quit her job to come here.

Now after long time dealing with a lot of personal issues (I'm bipolar 2 and have a long history of depression) and the issue that she does not speak proper German (nor English) and therefore could not find a job here, and the fact that I always have been a shitty husband, she decided that she wants to come back to our home country (Costa Rica).

With everything, we both want the best for the kids. They both have integrated really good here, they go to public school and both speak German fluently and have top grades. My daughter wants to stay here with me, the boy wants to go with her mother. We want to get some counseling to decide how to proceed, so the question is, does anyone can suggest how proceed? Is there any counseling here in Basel (in Spanish) that can help us decide how to proceed? I'm talking about counseling not to save the marriage (we have already taken counseling for years, and we both thing is beyond the scope of repair), but to take a better decision for the kids in legal terms and for the future? Both I and the kids have dual costa rican - german citizenship, she only has costa rican citizenship.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Sorry to hear you're in this situation. I don't have any ideas that would help, but have a bump and hopefully someone will be along with suggestions for you.

Thanks, I was able to contact a social worker that works for the canton, so she will assist us in all of this.
