Missing the chance of going on long walks in the nature without seeing so many people from the neighborhood taking / discovering the paths I've been walking religiously for years now.
I understand that covid has made life a bit more restricted, but I dearly can't wait for all these out-of-place people, bored out of their minds, would stick to their daily norms of hanging out in bars, other cities, at their friends or whereever, but not in front of me.

One of mine comes from Germany, they are probably clinging on to the entire production . Well at least - unlike the masks from China - we haven't paid for them yet.
Still, I wonder how many more products will go scarce.
As this is about missing: None of the lacking ones I really miss. We'll see if that changes.

I miss the texture, the right amount of salt and the feeling of invincibility (and bad breath) already after the 1st toast!

Due to a pre-existing condition, I've not been going out at all, and have missed expected trip to go home this summer to see my aging parents. Friends who I had planned to see have since died and I'm gutted.
Count your blessings.

I hope you use a new mask, not something that has been laying around or in your pocket. | | | | |
Yes, but I don't want to take a chance, so I don't. I've also noticed less and less people now offer their hand. One of the things I've always disliked, even pre C19, is for example, where you're sitting for breakfast and a colleague comes up and shakes your hand. I'm never sure if he or she washed their hands after using the bathroom so I try wherever possible to avoid shaking hands when at table.
As to masks, absolutely. I have about a dozen masks made for me by my shirt-maker which I can wash after use. I prefer these to the paper ones!

We're all a bit selfish and a bit of a "gatekeepers" from time to time.

I miss travel and being nagged by my mother-outlaw. She's always sweetness and light on the phone, but in person, she's gets a mischievous glint in her eyes and really makes you work for her affections. I miss sitting on the balcony with her savouring galaktoboureko from the local bakery, Lakafosis.

Come to the VD/NE/French Jura - I have been going for massive walks since lock down and hardly met a soul - the other day, I noticed a couple also with foraging baskets- they went that-a-way, and I the other- no prob.

As this is about missing: None of the lacking ones I really miss. We'll see if that changes. | | | | | Well having spent some time in the UK post-Covid before coming back, here's my list.
These items are either unavailable in the UK or ( have been sneakily moved to online delivery only ( with the £40 minimum order caveat )
First Roses marmalade, all Supermarkets whether Sainsbury's, Tesco's or Morrison's only stock Roses, Lemon & Line marmalade but not my favourite
Roses Orange marmalade.
Marks and Spencer Chicken Provencal - my favourite ready made meal in the UK again unavailable at all M&S Stores but sneakily moved to online delivery only ( with the £40 minimum order caveat ) with the likes of Ocado, etc.
Certain style of trousers in waist size 38 inches - out of stock with a sometime never delivery date.
In fact you can neatly sum it up as less choice with the most popular items either 'sold out' or awaiting delivery.

Certain style of trousers in waist size 38 inches - out of stock with a sometime never delivery date........ | | | | | This could have to do with fashion. I wore male-jeans Lee Phoenix 30/32 for decades. Until I could buy them nowhere anymore, not even in England, where they told me they are no longer made as it was mainly young guys buying them and they changed to baggy-fashion (yes, it is a long time ago ).
I turned into a Wrangler-girl but they're just not the same.
Maybe I get old enough for them to come back in fashion. There is always hope, you wouldn't believe how often the mini came back so far.
