1) Vaccination mandatory or not?
2) Should hospitals and nursing homes requires all patients and staff to be vaccinated?
3) How will insurance premiums change for those who don't vaccinate?
4) Will proof of vaccination be required to travel? | | | | | No
No
Not at all
Possibly if airlines and the f---ing cruiseship companies have the power to insist

Yes I’ll have it. It will help protect those around me who are vulnerable and probably allow me to travel more. Governments should def make it compulsory for tourists entering their countries (just like some already do with other vaccines, I had to have Yellow Fever to go to Uganda)... that’d increase take-up! I’m very pro-vax!

I'm guessing it will be defacto mandatory as in not required by law but if you want to go on a plane, if you want to do contact sport, if you want to enter country x, all the businesses or organisers will require it. Wondering what employers might do as well; probably certain sectors will require it.

I’m normally very pro-vaccines, but I’m not sure I want to be a guinea pigs for this one, especially as some use some new techniques. So I guess I’ll go for wait and see.

Not until it's been properly tested. Crazy that it's being released by Germany and US in the early stages, based on only 2 months of trials for side effects.
Luckily, Switzerland doesn't have the 'let's get it to market asap' clause, before it's allowed. A close friend of mine that is a German/Swiss practicing doctor put it quite well: "If you don't die of Covid then you'll die of the early vaccines".
Let's face it, the Oxford vaccine and it's crap testing only compounds this. Me, I've been wearing a mask, washing hands and keeping a distance since the beginning. I've had to cancel my planned vacations since March like anyone else, and the idea of avoiding self-isolation or quarantine during Swiss winter is a project in itself.
But I can continue this, and get used to to it until I feel comfortable that the vaccines and their side-effects have been properly tested.

agencies adding an addition requirement that any driver who's driving license has expired &
therefore up for renewal of a new 10 year license, also needs to prove that they have had
the Covid19 vaccine ?
Even better what about the annual MOT's in the UK & other countries road worthiness tests
also requiring the driver to prove that he or she has had the Covid19 vaccine before being
issued with their annual MOT ?
In other words you cannot be let loose on the road to travel when and where you please
in your car until you can prove that you have been vaccinated against the Pandemic
Covid-19 virus.

I find it very risky to get vaccinated with this rapidly developed and barely tested vaccine which is a new type of vaccine never used before.
I hope that the covid vaccine will never be mandatory, but is voluntary just line the flu shots. I never get the flu vaccination and don’t really care if I get the flu once in several years. Same with covid, especially with the current almost untested vaccine. But even when the tested safe vaccine becomes available, I prefer not to use it and recover from covid in case I ever get it again.

I've never had a flu shot, nor the flu.
I don't get colds, which leads me to think that I have very good immunity agains COVID viruses in general.
So I will wait.

I'll be first in line, sleeve rolled up.
Am I concerned that the vax might not be safe? Of course. I wish there were a less risky alternative.
But I'm less concerned about risks to me than the risk I could pose to my 90 year old mother should I visit her unvaccinated.
At 90, given how things stand now in her state, she likely would be refused a hospital bed.
She may be 90, but she's healthy for her age, sharp as a tack, and has a whole lotta living left to do. If I were to play a part in cutting that short... nope, I couldn't live with myself.
So count me in, I'll happily get the vax as soon as it is available.

Lots of other European countries are the same.
