That's not true, at all. In the US vaccinations could be administered by technicians similar to those that perform ECGs, Echos and the like - certification is as simple as a short training course on venipuncture
The vaccination is intramuscular, not intravenous. 15 minutes training would suffice.

Lots of our most needy citizens have neither health insurance, nor support, and they are part of our community nonetheless.

We need to discuss the reality, not the dream, if the intent is to truly offer the choice of a vaccine to every one of our citizens (lots don't even have the choice as things currently stand).

I went to 2 surrounding countries in recent times to support 2 needy people who wanted the injection to get it. The contrast was stark. The in-country teams bent over backwards to make sure these citizens got access to the vaccine of their choosing, to come to us, to make the atmosphere joyous (lots of laughter and light-hearted goodwill extended, no fear-mongering, neutral in tone and intent as they answered questions), and we had a chat about all the ways in which they're making sure as many citizens as possible have access to a vaccine (heartbreaking for me in light of all our frustrations here in the voluntary sector, in making next-to-no progress in removing access barriers blocking some of our most needy from even having the choice).
Really? Swiss citizens resident in Switzerland that do not have health insurance? There may be some foreigner 'sans-papiers' but they are not Swiss.

Erm. You do realize there is no Swiss NHS?
I do, but real life has showed us many exceptions from "realize" during covid times.

I don't want to criticise the English of non-native speakers given my crap German. However, that sentence makes no sense whatsoever.

I took it to mean something akin to "there have been many examples of common sense going out of the window since COVID alerts began, that usually reasonable thinking people have lost themselves in COVID-fear-mongering, and are being ruled by that now".

The poster can let us know if I'm along the right lines.

Iirc Jackie H doesn't have Swiss health insurance and is Swiss - because her pension is solely from an EU country / (UK for residents pre-Brexit).

What are you wittering on about.

A friend of my was rejected for asylum and his N permit expired. His job contract was terminated as soon as a his rejection came though. He went on to social, but when his permit expired, that stopped, so had no health insurance.

He went to the vaccine centre and explained to the staff what had happened. They were entirely sympathetic, registered him in the system and has now been double vaxxed.

(His hardship appeal was heard, and he was granted a B permit on the grounds that he's very well integrated into Switzerland, had a job waiting for him, had paid back previous debts to social, speaks the language, has Swiss friends...).

This interview is with Dr. Michael Yeadon, Former VP of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He has been trying to have an interview with mainstream media but has been refused which is why he is here on an alternative platform. He is pro-vax and has some interesting information. Why aren't we allowed to hear from a range of people with different information?

(MSM and Fact Checkers have called Dr. Yeager a fraud. Yet they have never once provided anything approaching a counter argument based on facts in response to his claims.)

Chuff, You did not even watch the video. Fair enough - I don't expect many people will.
But then I dont even believe you read the article that you posted. The article does not prove he has "made a ton of false, unfounded and misleading statements." Just as I quoted in my own posting - no matter how many people dislike him and may not agree he has not been proven wrong.

Because making up your own mind has gone out of style. And taking the responsibility for your decisions seems something loads of people just love to pass on to the goverments, who they then bash for the result.

I wouldn't sign the "the governments lied to you for 18 months" in the video. The vaccine is all they got to offer at the moment and I would expect them to do so. The decision is left to each and everyone.

It's not anybody's job to prove Yeadon wrong. It's Yeadon's job to prove his right or at least provide credible evidence supporting his opinion. This is simply how this stuff works.

Likewise Bakhdi, who tells a heartwarming story that, other than perhaps activating your lacrimal gland, neither has weight nor holds substance.

and neither is she poor by any meaning of the term.

According to her own posts she owns property both in CH and the UK as well as a small business and she has close relatives who are friends with celebrities and senior statesmen in different countries.

So I don't think we need to be concerned about her ability to access minimum healthcare.

Yes. This too.
Those who shout the loudest (or write in red bold ) seem to score the best. Those a little older learnt early that those who shout usually already know themselves that they're wrong.

What knocked me out was when I first saw serious newspapers put a comment like "3 minute read" on top of their articles. It is obviously an approved commmon illness now not to read more than headlines.
Wonder if ivermectin would help?

If this was directed at me - its unfounded as you have no idea of my background or intellectual ability.
I do admit I don't have time to quote all my sources of information or write long posts. But so be it - people can think what they like.

Re: Covid Vaccine: Will you get it?

Accidentally came over "Inside Paradeplatz", where they take a short look at the situation, taking the mickey (but very subtle, sorry, your German has to be good to get this) not out of Corona but at how they keep going about it according to "Augen zu und durch" (Press on regardless!), ignoring developments and adapt circumstances/procedures.

Inside Paradeplatz

Out shopping today a very elderly lady stood so close to me (hardly any people in the shop) that I was about to ask whether she was after a hug. It's not that I appreciated that kind of think before corona.
