General question about wills in multiple countries

Hi there. We're going to formalise our wills to replace our Swiss handwritten ones and have assets in four countries (two European, two non).

Does anyone have comparable experience and can comment on whether writing a will in multiple countries is a good idea to simplify bureaucracy for relatives/executors in each of those countries?

Thank you!
